IVORY COAST / PADA: Stencilling operations in the Commune of Adjame

The door painting operations in the Commune of Adjamé are in the final stages. They are carried out by a team of 154 PADA agents divided into 22 sub-teams of painters (each team is composed of 7 painters). 11 supervisors each supervise two teams with tablets for updating the database and taking pictures of numbered entries. 1 coordinator is responsible for planning the work per team during the day.

The average number of doors poached per team is about 30 doors per day depending on the weather conditions.

Planned to last 36 months, the Abidjan District Addressing Project (PADA) is a project of the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Urban Planning of Côte d’Ivoire (MCLU). The aim is to make the addressing of streets and gates in the district of Abidjan operational and to set up a single autonomous addressing reference system for Abidjan. Carried out with funding from the World Bank, thanks to part of the PACOGA resources, the PADA is being executed by the IGN FI/ GEOFIT/ DEFIS ET STRATEGIES consortium.
